Albany voters defeated the 196 million dollar spending plan which was on the November 3, 2015 General Election ballot.
The School Board has scheduled a re vote on a scaled back
169.1 million dollar version of the spending plan for February 9, 2016.
Sullivan, in an interview with Bob Port and Cynthia Pooler
today on Focus on Albany challenged the Albany School
Board to hold the re vote on the 169.1 million dollar High

This will allow for a maximum city voter turnout because
of the Democratic and Republican Presidential Primaries.
It will save the expense of the February 9 special vote
and the Albany County Board of Elections will tally the
results including absentee balloting.
