<b>TO BE MY RUNNING MATE AS</b><br />
<b>COMMON COUNCIL PRESIDENT<br />CONSERVATIVE ROW C NOV 7</b><br />
<br />
<b>Mark has served the people of Ward 5 and all</b><br />
<b>the people of Albany as Council Member.</b><br />
<br />
<b>* Mark is an independent Democrat, not a</b><br />
<b> rubber stamp for Mayor Sheehan.</b><br />
<br />
<b> Corey Ellis is beholden to Mayor Sheehan</b><br />
<b> who carried him to victory on her coat tails</b><br />
<b> in the September 12 Democratic Primary.</b><br />
<br />
<b> The November 7 Election will decide who</b><br />
<b> will be the next Common Council President</b><br />
<b> and Mayor apparent should the Mayor move on</b><br />
<b> shortly after election.</b><br />
<br />
<b>By Small Cities Law, the President of the Common</b><br />

<b>that 4 year term.</b><br />
<br />
<b>Corey is not, and can not be a true independent</b><br />
<b>for the people. He would be Sheehan light.</b><br />
<br />
<b>Mark is an independent for all the people of Albany.</b><br />
<br />
<b>Mark is a humble, hard worker who does not exude</b><br />
<b>an air of entitlement as does Corey.</b><br />
<br />
<b>Mark works buying and rehabbing abandoned homes</b><br />
<b>in West Hills..with no incentives or tax breaks. Corey</b><br />

<b>in the Black wards for developer deals with brown</b><br />

<b>Mark is an independent for the people. Corey is a</b><br />
<b>Sheehan rubber stamp out for Corey, NOt the people! </b><br />

<b>In sum, my vote Nov 7 is for Mark Robinson for Common</b><br />

<b><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></b>
<b><span style="font-size: large;">The Times Union reports that the City</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">of Albany may sell the 353 acres that</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">the Jennings administration purchased</span></b><br />

<b><span style="font-size: large;">taxpayer money as a future landfill site</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">for a fraction of what City taxpayers</span></b><br />

<br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;"> http://www.timesunion.com/news/article/Exclusive-Coeymans-Industrial-Park-eyes-12200366.php</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></b>
<b><span style="font-size: large;">Obviously a desperate move by the </span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">Albany Mayor and candidate for</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">reelection in the November 7 election</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">to achieve a balanced 2018 budget for</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">presentation to the Common Council</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">by October 1.</span></b><br />
<br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">The Common Council, which includes</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">a number of lame duck members as</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">well as many returning rubber stamp</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">members, as a result of the September</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">12 Democratic Primary, must vote to</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">approve that budget by the end of </span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">October.</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></b>
<b><span style="font-size: large;">Mayor Sheehan has appointed Sue</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">Rizzo, who won the September 12</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">primary for City Auditor, to fill the</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">current vacancy in that office.</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></b>
<b><span style="font-size: large;">Can Sue Rizzo conduct an unbiased</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">audit of this proposed move by Mayor</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">and candidate for reelection Sheehan</span></b><br />

<b><span style="font-size: large;">Council must vote on the Mayor's</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">2018 City Budget proposal?</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></b>
<b><span style="font-size: large;">The answer is YES. Sue Rizzo has</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">a real estate background and was</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">top vote recipient in the September 12</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">primary, out polling Mayor Sheehan</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">by a thousand votes. Sue Rizzo has</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">no November 7 election opponent</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">therefore she is City Auditor elect</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">whereas Mayor Sheehan must win</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">a contested November 7 election in</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">order to continue on as Mayor. For</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">the next four years? In addition,</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">the City Charter provides that the</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">City Auditor is accountable to the</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">voters of the City of Albany. NOT</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">the Mayor.</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></b>
<u><b><span style="font-size: large;">The adverse impact of Rezone</span></b></u><br />

<b><span style="font-size: large;">Who, then will support City schools</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">and City services?</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></b>
<b><span style="font-size: large;">City Auditor Rizzo can, ... conducting</span></b><br />

<b><br /></b>
<b><span style="font-size: large;"> NYS pays a similar PILOT to the City</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;"> for the Empire State Plaza. It is only</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;"> just that the State do the same for the</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;"> Harriman Office Campus.</span></b><br />
<b><br /></b>
<b><span style="font-size: large;"> Governor Cuomo may not love Mayor</span></b><br />

<br />
</span><br />
WHY? THAT IS WHERE THE VOTES ARE!<br />
<br />
<br />
SHEEHAN, MCLAUGHLIN and COMMISSO<br />
have been in office for years.<br />
<br />
How come they haven't dealt with traffic<br />
pedestrian safety problems all the time<br />
they have been in office?<br />
<br />
Sheehan wants to raise funds for another<br />
study. McLaughlin wants to " educate" dumb<br />
ass drivers and pedestrians how to utilize<br />
traffic lights and crosswalks<br />
<br />
At the same time Sheehan rams through<br />
her REZONE ALBANY zoning changes<br />
with the vote of her 12 rubber stramps<br />
on the Common Council, including the<br />
Common Council Members who are<br />
supposed to represent Wards 8, 9, 10<br />
12, 13 and 14.<br />
<br />
REZONE ALBANY will spur a rush<br />
of development which will destroy the<br />
residential integrity, quality of life, homes<br />
values and City property tax base that<br />
supports City schools and City government<br />
services, adversely impacting every City<br />
resident. Traffic/pedestrian safety issues<br />
will only get worse!<br />
<br />
Councilman Robinson , Common Council<br />
President candidate, gets beat up in Council<br />
caucus, called an "angry black man" for<br />
wanting the Council to Vote on his Resolution<br />
for a Moratorium on Rezone Albany until<br />
January 2018, when the Mayor and Common<br />
Council Members who are elected in the<br />
November General Election are seated.<br />
<br />
Current Council President Carolyn McLaughlin<br />
leads the attack on Robinson. Is she really a<br />
mayoral candidate or just a shill for Sheehan<br />
to split the anti Sheehan primary vote?<br />
<br />
Council Member Conti slyly cons Robinson<br />
into withdrawing the Resolution and resubmitting<br />
an amendment to th effective date of Rezone<br />
Albany to January 2018. That amendment would<br />
die in Committee and never make it to the floor<br />
for a vote of the full Council. Clever dodge by<br />
Conti!</b></span></span><br />
<span style="color: black; font-family: "arial"; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: small;"><b></b></span></span><br />

<br /> </span></span></span></b></span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: black; font-family: "arial"; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: small;"><b>This avoids the other Council Members having<br />
to cast a vote on the Robinson REZONE ALBANY<br />
Moratorium Resolution.<br />
<br />
9th Ward Council Member Judy Deshante a<br />
Sheehan ally and wife of former City Court<br />
Judge Keefe, admits that passage of the Resolution<br />
would harm development plans already in progress<br />
in Uptown single family neighborhoods as a result<br />
of the June 1st effective date.<br />
<br />
What development plans? Where? By whom?<br />
<br />
Why haven't these development plans been<br />
made known to residents of the uptown single<br />
family residential neighborhoods?<br />
<br />
Oh, after the Democratic Primary September 12?<br />
OK? Really?<br />
<br />
Is it any wonder that 4 sale signs outnumber<br />
political candidate lawn signs in uptown Albany?<br />

in the rear view mirror!<br />
